Rent Increase Notice
Writing to your landlord about the rent increase notice. In your Email, Explain:
Dear Mr Smith,
I am writing in response to the recent rent increase notification that I received. I received the notice on 09-05-2023, and I am concerned about the increase.
I was startled to see that the rent has increased by 20%. While I recognize that the cost of living may have increased over the past few years, I believe the rent increase is unjustified and discriminatory.
I have always paid my rent on time and taken care of the property as a responsible tenant. This rent increase is not proportional to the value of the property or the services provided, in my opinion. Moreover, I believe that such a significant rent increase is unreasonable and unsustainable given the current economic climate.
Therefore, I would like to propose a solution that would benefit both parties equally. I would like to propose a rent quantity that is more in line with current market rates in the area. I believe this would be a reasonable solution that would benefit us both.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. I eagerly await your response and hope that we can reach an amicable resolution.
Sincerely,
ABC
