Before Covid-19 Pandemic, In the first 6 months of 2019, only 1,60,235 applications were given for Canada Permanent Residency.

According to above data, in the first half of 2019, immigration applications were 45.5% more as compared to the last year before Covid-19.

According to the latest immigration, IRCC, Canada immigration application trend started getting high in the first half of 2022, and we can see Canada to Welcome Immigrants in 2022. If it remains continued, the result will be around 4,63,250 new applications for Canada PR.

This count is up around 14.1% more than 4,06,025 new applications for Canada PR last year and was more than 7.3% higher than Ottawa’s Immigration target this year 2022.

Under Immigration Plan 2022-2024, Ottawa planned to welcome around 4,31,645 PR applications this year, 4,47,055 in 2023 and 4,51,000 in the year 2024.

Despite the present breakthrough, Canada Immigration, business leaders and provincial politicians insist more requirements should be done to allow foreign nationals to apply for jobs.

Recently, provincial politicians called up Ottawa for allocations under PNP (Provincial Nominee Programs) so that businesses may hore more and more immigrants.
