You were issued a damaged book by the local library which you noticed after you reached home.
Write a letter to the librarian in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:
- Introduce yourself
- Give him the details of the book
- What do you expect the librarian to do
Just know about Celpip Writing an Email:
Dear Mr Smith,
I’m writing this letter to let you know that the library gave me a book that was broken yesterday. I’m ABC, and I’m a regular visitor to your prestigious library. The book in question is called Life’s Theory, and I got it from the library on 25-03-2023.
When I got home, I saw that the book wasn’t in very good shape. Some of the pages were gone, and the cover was torn. I’m a big reader, so I treat books with respect and take good care of them. I’m sad that I was given a book that was already damaged. I know that these things can happen by accident, but it would be nice if they didn’t happen again in the future.
So, I’d like to ask you to do what needs to be done to fix or replace the damaged book. I hope you will act right away to solve the problem and make sure that the library members get books in good shape.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this.
Sincerely,
ABC
