You are organising a local committee meeting.
You would like a local MP to attend the meeting to contribute to a discussion about green areas in the community. Write a letter of about 150-200 words regarding the invitation to the MP’s secretary, Mrs Shelly. In the letter, explain:
- Introduce your committee
- Give the purpose of the meeting
- Invite the MP to attend this meeting
Hello, Mrs. Shelly!
I’m writing this letter on behalf of the local committee I’m a part of. Our committee is working on making our community’s green spaces better, and we’d like to invite the local MP to our next meeting.
The goal of this meeting is to talk about how important green spaces are in our community and how we can protect and improve them. We think the MP’s presence and contribution to the discussion would be very helpful, and it would be an honour to have them there.
We would like to invite the MP to our next committee meeting, which will take place on 050-04-2023 at 6:00 pm, at Community Hall. We hope that the MP will be able to join us for a useful conversation.
We think that the committee members and the rest of the community would really value the MP’s input and point of view on this issue. We hope the MP will be able to come and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for paying attention, and please let us know if you need anything else.
