Unable to attend the Seminar
You are working in a Finance firm. Your firm got the invitation to the annual seminar held by the Finance sector. You have been selected to attend the seminar on behalf of your firm. Write a letter to your manager. In your Email Explain:
- How you feel about being chosen for seminar
- What are your reasons for not attending
- What alternative should they have?
Dear Mr Mason,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my gratitude for being chosen to represent our firm at the upcoming annual seminar in the Finance sector. It is indeed an honor to have been selected for this opportunity.
However, I regret to inform you that I cannot attend the seminar due to unavoidable circumstances. Unfortunately, a family emergency has arisen, requiring my immediate presence and attention during the same period as the seminar. I deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused by my absence.
In light of this situation, I propose an alternative solution. I recommend that Mr Jonthan attend the seminar in my place. This individual understands our firm’s operations and would be well-suited to represent us effectively. I have already discussed this matter with them, and they are willing and eager to attend on behalf of our firm.
Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that my proposed alternative will be suitable for our firm’s representation at the seminar.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration. Please let me know if any further information or action is required from my end.
