Task: Talk about your favourite Cartoon
Response 1: Well, my favourite cartoon has to be Tom and Jerry. I grew up watching it, and honestly, it never gets old. The funniest part is the constant chase between the cat and the mouse. Even though there’s hardly any talking, the expressions and actions are enough to make anyone laugh. What I really like is how creative every episode feels, even though it’s always the same idea Tom chasing Jerry. Whenever I feel tired or stressed, watching a few clips instantly lifts my mood. It also reminds me of my childhood, when I used to watch it with my family. For me, Tom and Jerry is not just a cartoon, it’s kind of a comfort show.

Response 2: If I had to pick one cartoon I really enjoy, I would say Doraemon. It’s about a robotic cat from the future who helps a boy named Nobita with all kinds of cool gadgets. I think the main reason I like it is because every episode shows something new and imaginative, like the Anywhere Door or the Time Machine. When I was younger, I often wished I had those gadgets myself. What I also enjoy is that the show teaches simple lessons, like being honest or helping your friends. Even though it’s funny and light, it still carries a good message. Doraemon is a cartoon that always sparks my imagination.
